Tuesday, September 21, 2004 ::: just received my mileage plus statement realized we got promoted to premier membership status for a moment I thought I should feel happy and excited which I certainly did it's finally some recognition from united (and star alliance) to this loyal fan/customer but later I realize there's certainly much more to feel other than sheer joy perhaps it's realization that comes a little too late I thought I knew right from wrong and I thought it actually mattered but I was wrong right from the start I ask myself where did I go right to get everything and I'm afraid I can't find the answer maybe it's just circumstances that make things the way they are now but I can't blame it on circumstances or status quo because I know I was taught much better than this be a grateful soul thunder and lightning illuminates the dark sky and of course there's the pouring rain "thunder only happens when it's raining" lyrics that immediately came to my mind but in the house with my family around I found so much peace grandma was so scared of the lightning and so afraid she would got struck - she avoided to sit close to the window "when the rain washes you clean you'll know" and I know I can do better than that. The Terminal is going to be on theaters this thursday and it's surprising to learn that United actually plays a part in the movie! - Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hanks' love interest, plays United flight attendant Amelia Warren. She's also wearing the United uniform in the movie too. - The first words in the film are a United boarding announcement. - About 40 United employees from Los Angeles International appear as extras. So do United 747 planes and Red Carpet Clubs. - United has been advising DreamWorks for 18 months, as well as providing employee uniforms, gate signs and logos. now you bet I'm really looking forward to this. United introduces p.s., Premium Service, a great way to travel in comfort and style between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO). p.s. features a newly reconfigured aircraft with three classes of service, more space and a premium onboard experience.
